  1. Let me ask these questions: Why General Samatar who is the only General from Kacaankii? Why not go after other Generals and criminals? Let me guess, because they're from powerful clans and their will be backlashes!!!

    • Oh, did I fail to mention that in the movie Topgun the Ruskies are finlyg the F5 painted black? BTW, best dog fight scene ever and dido to some vietmam movies. Hmmm I wonder why the USAF still keeps them around. Now see, That’s why take exception to this blog. It seems you want to keep the Kenyan military down. As per an earlier comment, Kenya AF is fine for the size of the country and last time I checked, they have been owing the Shabab. Who else can claim that?? As for our reapers lasing for the Kenyans, it can be done very easily, it’s just a matter of attaching a JDAM and or LGB fire and forget but with deadly accuracy. BTW, there is nothing wrong with operating older aircraft. For example, the 747 is still around and it was developed in the 60s and I believe AF one is a 747. And numerous fighter and passenger air craft still finlyg today. All you need is upgrades in avionics and software, hard points etc .. This was too easy. It’s like you brought a stick to a gun fight. Next time, think before you insert foot in mouth.

  2. General Samatar was the top of the government and even some say he was the main driver of the Somali government. This is just the start and others will follow.

    Justice must prevail.

  3. SoolBoy, you are retarded, backlashes from who? The U.S is afraid of backlashes from some "powerful clans"? Im not from the U.S so don't think I'm pro-American, but to suggest the U.S is afraid of backleshes is redicolous. Its an investigative news segment, if they could find more atrocious criminals they would. This is the only case that has made it to U.S courts. That is why there is a story on him. You need to read more SoolBoy!!!!!!!!

    • Hassan: Never mis-quote people, did I say there would be backlashes against the US? Hell, no. I mean these so called victims who are nothing but tribal people shouldn't go after the weak only. This case is from Somalis not to US.

  4. For Your Information, some of you people may not aware of this; But this case is not criminal, but civil that means Ali Samatar will not go to jail for this, Mr. Bashe and other could sue Ali Samatar. and even let us say if someone wins that law sue, they could could collect $$$, since he may not have any $$$$. this is very compleated issue and its very hard to understand especially those people who do not understand American Justuce System.

  5. What about Riyaale Kaahin? Would he ever go on trail for his alleged involvement in the Somaliland genocide that left thousands dead, when he was Faqash? I hope they all go on trails, even the ones who were just soldiers, and I know many so called Somalilanders were willing and in some cases did execute their own to please the then president Siyad Bare (that bare monster).

    @ Warsame
Depending on which state he is going to be tried, if he is found guilt of the killings of innocent people, he could face a death penalty a.k.a lethal injection of electrocuting up. They can also extradite him back to Somalia, where he will surely be executed Somali way; stoning him to death 🙂

  7. Justice never die and anyone who committed crime against humanity should face justice one day. What these men did was pure genocide and America shouldn't let of the hook those individuals who were in power when this was happending. What they these men did was new to the world and we never seen dictators like them used Air forces against cities and civilians. the world shouldn't let these individuals come up an excuses they didn't have the power to stop what was happending.
We are with those who lost their love one and America shouldn't be where criminals hide but where they face absolute justice. This will also stop other dictators around the world no committed such a crime and then move themselves and their families in confortable area. Justice is justice and it should done as it is.

  8. Soolboy, you are so naïve and totally missing the point. General Samatar is of no use to Somaliland. He left Somalia and is not part of it's problems now. He is sued by an individual seeking justice and not by the Somaliland government. However, the other generals are still in Somalia doing what the government of Somaliland wants them to do – keep Somalia in permanent limbo while Somaliland seeks recognition. Somaliland is afraid of no one. If our government wanted to kill Morgan, Abdulahi Yusuf, and others like them, they could do it so easily, but really their death is the last thing Somaliland wants.

  9. They killed my uncel and my brother and today i live in sweden and iam in the somaliland army iam still waiting for that day to see dem killed.

  10. You all do not understand how its to see your loved once shot like an animal understand that first den you will understand what this man has done. He is and animal and should be killed like an animal.
