“Asalama Alaikum, my fellow beloved citizens of the Republic of Somaliland. Today is another significant day in the history of our nation; it is another day when we fulfill our constitutional duty. I am once again sending my condolences to the family and our nation on the passing of the former President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud (Silanyo).  Since the country is in national mourning for the death of the former president, there should not be celebration of the announced election results, instead let us pray for the deceased, let us remind ourselves of his noble history and the good morals he led our nation with. ”

.”Today, my fellow citizens, we must all work together to advance our country. Today’s address is about us, about the people of the Republic of Somaliland as a whole, not about us and you.  This election was not one of winners and losers, it was the election of promoting brotherhood, unifying and moving our country forward. All of us have won, the nation of the Republic of Somaliland has won, and President Behi has won doing his extensive work in the constitutional election and his responsibility outstandingly. Every now and again, I announce to every citizen that they will get their equal rights with happiness and good will, and they will live in harmony in front of their flag without being a victim of their political views and personal thoughts.”
