Hargeisa -The President of the Republic H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Mohamud Silanyo have established a powerful office charged with the task of all aspects associated with the registration, verification, awareness, collection and distribution of alms.
The new office will thus manage wholly hence practically and technically deal with all aspects of alms that abounds thereof.
The new office will perform its duties under the ministry of Religion and Endowment.
In a Presidential decree released yesterday the Head of State gave detailed structures and specifications of the constituent board.
He at the same time named the new chiefs of the sector.
Officially termed the office of the Registration of ALMS, the decree named the new chairman as Sheikh Said Mohammed Farah Jirre, Sheikh Awil Fatah Shire as his deputy and Sheikh Ibrahim Ahmed Said as the new director general .
The structure will constitute of the above two top executives and a liaison committee comprising of the ministers of Religion and Endowment, Labour and Social Affairs and that of Finance.
The office which will also be charged with the dissemination of its objectives have been given specifications on the personality characteristics of the top personnel, their ages and associated qualifications to underscore the level of piety, diligence and abilities required for the purposes of the dispensations of the tasks outlined in/at and for the new establishment.
