The popular Somali musician and vocalist, the late Mohamed Ahmed Kuluc passed away today in a Hargeisa Hospital where he was admitted in the hospital intensive unit earlier today after his medical condition worsened.
The director of Hargeisa group of hospitals briefing the media on the death of the late Mohamed Ahmed Kuluc said, “The late musician passed away earlier today moments after he was admitted to the hospital intensive unit due to respiratory complications.
The late Mohamed Ahmed Kuluc vocalist and musician was born in 1934 and he joined the musical scene back 1954 was one of the foremost founders of modern Somali music and also played roles in many dramas and for his latest years he was resigned from the world of art and music ,spending his later years living in London, UK.
The late Mohamed Ahmed Kuluc had 4 brothers and 3 sisters, married five different times and is survived by 9 children and 26 grand childrens.
