Hon Muse Bihi Abdi, the Presidential candidate and chairman of the ruling ”KULMIYE” party speaking to the reporters during a press conference held in his office today in the strongest terms dismissed accusation his party was openly campaigning in the eastern regions.
The Presidential candidate and chairman of the ruling “KULMIYE” party speaking on the matters said,” As you’re all aware of the voters registration process has already begun in earnest and it’s the duty of the three official national political organization to assist the National Electoral Commission in raising awareness and mobilise both our supporters and citizens to take part in the process but it seems our brothers in the opposition wrongly assumed we were engaged in political campaigning.
The other two official national parties UCID and WADDANI officials accused the Hon Muse Bihi Abdi, the Presidential candidate and ruling party officials of being engaged in open political campaigning ahead of the prescribed period under the Electoral Code and at the same time urging the National Electoral Commission to enforce regulation.
