Mr. Ali Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal the son of the late President Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal who is currently visiting the country was today ,accorded the deserved high profile reception during a luncheon held in his honor by his host the Deputy Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Honorable Yusuf Osman Garas .
The Deputy Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Honorable Yusuf Mohamed Garas welcomed Mr. Ali Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal back during the function held today at the hotel Mansoor whereby they had a luncheon and thereafter they discussed the national strides and the overall current situation in the country.
On his part Mr. Ali Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal urged both government of Somaliland and members of the society should steadfastly ready to put in their time, brains, moral and material support towards the national aspirations.
Among the notable dignitaries present during the luncheon were the Director General in the Ministry of Information, Culture and Guidance Mohamed Elmi, the President Silanyo personal Secretary Mr. Ali Ahmed Ali, the Director of the prestigious Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution Mr. Aden Haji Ali, businessmen, intellectuals and Friends.
Mr. Ali has a dual Somaliland-Canadian citizenship, who has been working for the last 20 years in UAE as a senior Manager in one of the Petroleum companies in UAE.
