H.E Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo was among the hundreds of mourners attending the State funeral of the Late Poet Ali Sugule Egal “Duncarbeed” which took place earlier today at the Naso H-Habalod cemetery in Hargeisa.
Early this morning the plane carrying the remains of the poet Ali Sugule Bob “Duncarbeed” from the United Arab Emirates arrived at the Egal International Airport where hundreds of mourners had gathered.
Somaliland Armed Forces units were at hand to receive the flag wrapped casket carrying the remains of the Late Poet Ali Sugule Egal “Duncarbeed” , to be followed by the Janazah prayers which took place at the Egal International Airport Mosque.
The State funeral Late Poet Ali Sugule Egal “Duncarbeed” at the Nasoo Hablod cemetery , among those attending were members of both houses , members of the three political parties, traditional leaders, elders, intellectuals and the general public .
Finally, after the remains of the gather Late Poet Ali Sugule Egal “Duncarbeed” were lowered to the grave , mourners gathered together as Supplication for the deceased was recited.
