The Head of Somaliland immigration services Col. Mohamed Ali Yusuf “Cambarro”has being relieved of his duties by the Minister of Interior according to reports leaked the Press by sources close to the Somaliland Ministry of Interior.
The Minister of Interior Hon Mohamed Ali Warancade has appointed Col. Mohamed Osman Calin aka Dayib as the new head of Somaliland Immigration Service to replace the sacked immigration czar.
The sacking of the former immigration czar coincides with the recent visit to the country by the former Federal Government of Somalia Ambassador to Kenya Mr. Mohamed Ali Americo who is considered a persona non grata.
The former Federal Government of Somalia Ambassador to Kenya Mr. Mohamed Ali Americo is said to have posted his photos while visiting Hargeisa and Berbera in his social network page.
Mr. Mohamed Ali Americo is said to be married to a Somaliland born citizen.
