Somaliland Minister of Health and Labor Dr. Saleban Ahmed Essa “Haglatosiye” has condemned in the strongest terms the recent cold blood massacre of innocent nomads which took place on Friday in Ara Wayn District in Buhoodle region terming it as an act of cowardice.
Hon Haglatosiye went on to further state , “As you’re well aware of, Dr. Ali Khalif Galaydh on January 30, 2016, from his last hide out, Buhodle district, , send a chilling message to Somaliland in a radio interview Warlord Ali Khalif Galaydh’s War Crimes Video proof , in which he cold blood manner vows to slaughter pro-Somaliland nomads in Buhodle district.” Then 13 days later, on February 12, 2016 he delivered his threats as his Khatumo militias’ savagely murder one nomad and wound two more.
“I call upon the international community and IGAD act now on these terrorists rather than later, Dr. Ali Khalif Galaydh has openly vowed to wage Jihad against Somaliland, threaten to send suicide bombers, attack bridges and transportation system, but worse of all to massacre innocent civilians at will, “he said.
The Health Minister added, “The government of Somaliland shall not allow the lives of its civilians to be threatened and will use all means under its disposal to ensure such massacre won’t happen again and we shall not allow Dr. Ali Khalif Galaydh to step foot in Buhoodle again.
I urge the traditional leaders, intellectuals and the people of Buhodle to be untied in safe guarding the peace , as its now apparent to them Dr. Ali Khalif Galaydh intentions are to create mayhem.
