Gabiley- Councilmen in Gabiley today in an extra ordinary meeting elected a new Mayor for towns municipal council a week after the Former Mayor was appointed by President Silanyo as the new Minister of Industries nearly one week ago.
All 18 town councilors elected councilman Mohamed Omer Abdi (Mohamed Amin)as the Gabiley town new Mayor during the extra ordinary meeting held earlier today at Gabiley municipal council headquarters.
The Governor of Gabiley region and deputy minister of interior in charge of regional and districts affairs present during the vote to elect the new praised the councilmen for the smooth transition of the process new Mayor of Gabiley town was elected through Justice and Development party ticket (UCID).
