The director of immigration service Colonel Mohamed Yusuf “Cambaro” has today during a press conference held in his office revealed that they have in their custody a man accused of spreading the Shia ideology in the country.
Colonel Mohamed Yusuf “Cambaro “further added that the man they‘re holding in custody is a Pakistani born businessman and not Iranian as alleged by a section of the media.
“The Pakistani man came to the country on a business visa after being sponsored by a Somaliland citizen who has since withdrawn his sponsorship after it came to light the accused was in the business of spreading Shia ideology in the country but that’s all I have to say for now since investigation are still ongoing “, he said.
On other hand the immigration boss denied reports alleging the Ethiopian consulate had ceased all operations including the issuance of visa instead he said, “The Ethiopian consulate in Hargeisa is doing its business as usual and they have stopped issuing visa because of lack of Visa stickers.
