The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) in collaboration with the PFM Coordination Department of the Ministry of Finance Development has organized a four-day training on IPSAS Cash Basis, on October 12 – 14/19, 2019, at Baraar Hotel Hargeisa.
This training is designed to equip participant with the skills, principles and practices of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Cash Basis, and to enable them apply the newly gained skills in their respective roles within the Government of Somaliland.
The Participants of the training were drawn from the key financial management institutions and departments, including Accountant General’s Office, the Office of the Auditor General, Internal Audit Department of the Ministry of Finance Development and other public Departments and institutions
The PFM is designed to improve the government’s capacity and systems to utilize public funds, towards meeting the National Development Plan (NDPII) goals and those of Vision 2030. 9
