The Vice President H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail “Saylici” leading a high-level delegation laid the foundation for several development projects in Borame town, Awdal region.
The VP accompanied by the minister of education, the deputy minister of national planning and rural development and JPLG officials cut the tape to several completed and ongoing development projects.
Mr. Abdirahman Ahmed Ali, the Awdal regional governor and Mr. Suleiman Hassan Haddi, the Mayor of Borame town briefed the visiting delegation on the ongoing projects, which are part of the JPLG program.
The Vice President H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail “Saylici” speaking during the occasion urged residents of Borame to utilize both infrastructures projects and services that respond to the expressed needs of communities, this shows the partnership and cooperation between government and the people.
The VP and his delegation also inspected the new slaughterhouse and other ongoing projects.
