Admiral Mohamed Hussain Farah (Hirane), commander of Somaliland coastal guards today met with senior EUCAP officials in his office.
The objective of this meeting was to continue and the strength of the working cooperation between Somaliland coastguard and EUCAP.
The visiting EUCAP officials pledged to continue sustaining capacity for enhancement of maritime security and increase training for Somaliland coast guards law-enforcement capabilities.
They also informed the commander of Somaliland coastal guards that high-level European Union officials from Brussels will be arriving in the country soon to evaluate and assess ongoing EUCAP projects in the country.
Admiral Mohamed Hussain Farah (Hirane) on his part thanked the visiting EUCAP officials for their continued cooperation and assistance.
