The Taiwanese Embassy officials on Sunday handed over 100 standard wheelchairs to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation meant to be distributed to hospitals in the country and people with disabilities.
The donation consists of a hundred pieces of wheelchairs was handed over by Taiwan’s deputy ambassador to the country, Mr. Allen C. Lou to Mr. Abdirisak Jama Nuur, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Two Taiwanese non-governmental organizations,-“Puh Sien Foundation” and “Cao Zhong Zhi Foundation” donated 100 standard wheelchairs to the Somaliland Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Apart from todays donation the brotherly nation of Taiwan has assisted Somaliland in many fields he two countries forged close diplomatic relations in mid-2020.
