Chairman of Civil Service Mr. Khalid Qodah Jama who was accompanied by the minister of Telecommunication and Technology Hon. Abdiweli Abdillahi Suufi and his Water resources counterpart Hon. Ali Mohamed Hassan (Ali Marehan) jointly closed a workshop about latest human resource management information system technologies for departmental heads. According to information from the venue 55 government officials received certificates for completion of the courses they attended.
The chairman of the civil service Mr. Khalid revealed the importance of human resources in management of governmental departments. He confirmed that they had been working for the implementation of the training for a while.
Civil Service Commission Chairman revealed that their next training will target other cadres of the civil service.
He also advised those departmental heads that have benefited from the government training to apply the skilled learned in their respective work stations.
Implementation of human resources management information systems (HRMIS) will be a game changer for integration of government human resources policy. It will also help civil servants know their work hours, annual leaves, promotions and events like training and perks.
