Scores of street children demanding better living conditions were arrested and detained by police at the ministry of employment, social and family affairs headquarters on Tuesday.
The detained street children had gone to the ministry to express their grievances and find solutions to improve the lives but instead of receiving protection and support where they most deserved, they were rounded-up and detained.
The relevant authorities have not yet disclosed the reasons that prompted their actions.
