The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Muse Bihi Abdi, speaking on his behalf, the government, and the people of the Republic of Somaliland, sends a message of condolence to the members of the media fraternity, intellectuals, elders, academics, family, relatives, friends, and the people of Somaliland on the passing of the late Mohamed Osman Mire (Sayyid) who passed away in Ethiopia on 22/10/2022. May God have mercy on him.
The President described the deceased as an experienced journalist who served the country and the people and held various positions for the nation of Somaliland.
The President prayed to Allah to rest the deceased’s soul in Eternal Peace and wished the family members stronger faith during this trying moment.
May Allah (SWT) bless his soul our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. His untimely death is a great loss to his family and to the Somaliland nation at large.
