The President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, today received in his office the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Government of Ethiopia to the Republic of Somaliland, H.E Amb Mohamed Mohamed Jibril.
The purpose of the meeting with the President was to welcome the Ambassador, who is new to the embassy and recently appointed by the Federal Government of Ethiopia to the Republic of Somaliland.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic of Somaliland and the New Ethiopian Emissary discussed the deep-rooted cooperation and relationship between the Republic of Somaliland and the Federal Government of Ethiopia on development, trade, transport and security issues in the Horn of Africa region.
The President was flanked by the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Ambassador was accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Ethiopian Embassy and other officials.
