President H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi today received the Ambassador Nicholas Berlanga Martinez who paid him a courtesy call at the Presidency.
The Ambassador who is the EU representative to Somaliland and Somalia had been in the country over the week met the Head of State in a meeting that can be termed historic since the UKs representation was officially untenable in the EU.
Yesterday was the first day the UK was officially out of the EU. The President and Amb. Berlanga had their talks mostly dwell on bilateral relations especially as concern socio-political developments affair and also ways and means of bolstering the relations. Social development and democratization process featured and focus was also made on diverse development projects.
As usual they talked of security and stabilization of peace in the Horn region of Africa.
The President was flanked by Planning Minister. Hon. Hassan Mohammed Ali.
