The President H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi received at the Presidency a delegation of Djibouti parliamentary officials who paid him a courtesy call yesterday.
The Head of State who heartily received them was flanked by his deputy H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismael Seyli’i.
The MPs were part and parcel of a larger delegation from Djibouti that attended the 18th May Celebrations last week.
The celebration was the commemoration of the 28th year since the people of Somaliland re-established their independence ostensably won on the 26th of June 1960.
The President reiterated on the occasion the ages-old integral and intertwined relationship between the two countries hence said that it ought to be bolstered and pricesly convictionally pledged that it would be fostered under his watch.
On the other hand, the delegation who carried a personal congratulatory message from their president hailed the Head of State and the people of Somaliland for establishing and nurturing the democratic process in the country.
