The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E Muse Bihi Abdi flanked by the Vice President H.E Abdurrahman Abdallahi Ismail “Saylic” today in his office met with members of the outgoing national electoral commission and the speakers of the House of Elders and Representatives Hon Saleban Mahmoud Aden and Hon Bashe Mohamed Farah.
The meeting between President, the speakers of the House of Elders and Representatives and members of the outgoing national electoral commission was to brief the outgoing team conducted the voter registration and the 2017 presidential elections.
On their part, members of the outgoing national electoral commission thanked the president and chair of the House of Representatives and representatives and pointed out that the work they did was bestowed upon them and mandated by the nation and in accordance with the constitution of Somaliland.
