Hargeisa, 12.02.2025T-he President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cirro), who is currently on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, held an important meeting today with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum**, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, as well as the Ruler of Dubai.
Additionally, the President of Somaliland met with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The President of the Republic of Somaliland expressed his gratitude to the UAE government for the official reception and the high-level hospitality extended to him during his participation in the Global Summit of World Governments.
During the meetings, the President of Somaliland discussed key issues of mutual importance to both nations and their brotherly peoples.
The Topics discussed included:
- Economic cooperation, investment, and joint efforts to enhance regional stability.

The President also emphasized the need for the UAE to support Somaliland in economic development and for both sides to collaborate on security matters, particularly in ensuring the stability of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
