The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi, on Monday, issued presidential decree No: JSL / SM / XKQ / 222 / 1-443 / 012020 and JSL / XM / WM / 222-444 / 012020 in which he made new appointments and fired officials in the government.

The President relieved of their duties with immediate effect, Ms. Amal Abdi Hassan, the Vice-Chairman of Quality Management and Mr. Mohamed Aden Hirsi, Executive Director of the Good Governance Committee.

  1. Abdinasir Ahmed Hirsi Mohamed as the Director-General of the Ministry of Environment and Rural Development

  1. Eng. Abdirahman Mohamed Muhumed as the Director-General of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism

  2. Abdirisaq Jama Nur Nakhuude as the Director-General of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

  3. Mohamed Yusuf Ismail Director-General of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals

  4. Ahmed Abdi Ismail Caqli as the Director-General of the Ministry of Water Development

  5. Abdiwaasca Mohamed Yusuf as the Vice-Chairman of the Somaliland Quality Control Agency.

  6. Ahmed Abdirisaq Dirie as the Executive Director of the National Tender Board

  7. Mohamed Ahmed Hassan (Jabarti) as the Director-General of the Aviation and Airport Authority

  8. Mohamud Ismail Elmi as the Executive Director of the Good Governance Committee
