H. E. President Muse Bihi Abdi, today at the Presidential palace hosted a luncheon in honor of 80 members of the House of Representative among them the speaker for their servitude to the nation and at the discussing ways of strengthening the working in coordination between the executive and the legislative body.
The President while addressing the parliamentarians reminded them of the importance inter- working relations between the various governmental arms especially the executive and the legislative body.
He added, “As we meet here today, I would like to thank you for working with the government on many issues important to the nation and at the same time to reiterate my commitment to strengthen the cordial working relationships between the executive and the legislative body, though intertwined, both arms have their obligations to fulfil”.
The function ended in an atmosphere of understanding and goodwill and whereby their morale was boosted with commitment on the part of the Members of the House of Representative to step up their working relations.
