Hargeisa, January 22nd, 2022: The PFM Coordination Unit in partnership with Accountant General Office and the Ministry of Interior has facilitated A three -day training on International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). The training was attended by key finance staff of Local Governments across the country.
The IPSAS cash basis training seeks to improve the quality of financial reporting by local governments in order to create transparency and accountability in the use and management of public funds nternational Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) are a set of high-quality standards, guidelines, and resources for public sector accounting.
To satisfy the National Development Plan priorities and drive economic growth, the PFM works for the best possible efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the allocation, management, and use of public funds.
