In a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace, the newly appointed national electoral commissioners took the oath of office in presence of the chairman of chief justice Aden Haji Ali Ahmed and the President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E Muse Bihi Abdi.
The new members of the National Electoral Commission, recently approved by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Somaliland, took the oath to uphold the constitution and execute their duties.
The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Hon. Muse Bihi Abdi, advised the members of the new commission to execute their duties with justice, accountability, equality, and base their rule on the Holy Quran.
