The Somaliland Ministry of planning technical team met their Ethiopian counterparts in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian Capital.
The two sides discussed ways of enhancing technical cooperation between the two countries’ various governmental institutions.
Agreed Action points of both Institutions were as follows:-
- Formal collaboration between institutions (after finalization of technical collaboration areas)
- Engagement of other Ethiopian institutions.
- Creating communication platforms (sharing contacts) (SL-Ethiopian Embassy)
- Organizing next meetings of the TWG5.
- Paving the Somaliland development fundraising to be facilitated by Ethiopia and their international counterparts.
- Organizing joint resource mobilization conference for the National development of the two countries (Both)
- Statistics collaboration
- Collaborate Prioritizing the long-term plan into medium term plan ongoing activities.
- NDP decentralization
- Coordination of development and policies across sectors.
