The Somaliland health ministry will hold a national health conference to discuss the status of the National Health Service in Somaliland and ways to produce innovative solutions to the most pressing health care issues in the country.
The conference, which is been organized by the Ministry of Health, will bring together stakeholders from the health sector, Somaliland health ministry, the various government, and private hospitals.
Prof. Omar Ali Abdullahi, Somaliland Minister of Health Development said that the ministry will hold the Somaliland Health Fair.
The health minister speaking to the press said that the Health fair will see the attendance of stakeholders from the national health sector to discuss issues related to health services provided by public and private hospitals.
He added that the health fair organized by the ministry of health will be held from the 16th to 20th, November 2019 will be a podium whereby participants will showcase the ways that health centers are providing health care, improving health outcomes, and narrowing health disparities such as mental and maternal health and ways health centers can produce innovative solutions to the most pressing health care issues.
Prof. Omar Ali Abdullahi went on to say, “The standard of health services provided by public and private hospitals, quality of medicine, the framework of developing medical schools education, medical practitioners ethics and communicable diseases will be discussed.
