The Minister of Finance Development Hon. Dr. Saad Ali Shire awards Certificates to the staff of the Accountant General, on January 13, 2020, following a-three-day training on Leadership and Change Management, at Ambassador Hotel Hargeisa.
The training equips the staff of the accountant General with the leadership and management skills required to facilitate reforms and create a conducive environment to adopt change and promote the use of best practices to achieve results in managing public finance.
The PFM is designed to improve the government’s capacity and systems to utilize public funds towards meeting the National Development Plan (NDPII) goals and those of Vision 2030.
on the other hand, the PFM Coordination Department has conducted Pillar 1 & 2 Technical Working Group Meeting on January 14, 2020, at the PFM Coordination Office in Hargeisa.
This working group is a platform for stakeholders to review reform progress against plans, identify synergy and share lessons learned to sustain best practices.
Pillar 1 & 2 focus on Economic and Budget Management, and Domestic Revenue Mobilization.
The Meeting is chaired by the Director-General of the Ministry of Finance Development Mr. Mohamed Abdi Gurhan and attended by key stakeholders.
