The Burao mayor Mohammed Abdirahman Murad has decried what he termed as a ‘sad rise’ in deaths rate in the town.
The Mayor noted that the first quarter of the year 2021, saw a whopping 140 deaths, thus buried, in Burao graveyards.
Despite the fact that he pointed out the sad story of unprecedented deaths since the onset of the second COVID 19 wave, he did not back the facts with health department’s verifications.
