The 41st Session of the Somaliland Cabinet meeting, chaired by the President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, was held today.
The cabinet during the meeting focused on strengthening security and the council emphasized the importance of security to the country and the people and underlined that stern action should be taken against anyone/ persons, engaging in acts insecurity or fueling repeated conflicts.
The council was also briefed by the chairman of the civil service organization, Prof Farhan Adan Haybe, on the development activities of the labor organization, in which he pointed out that they are in the process of reforming and improving the administrative, financial and labor standards of civil servants and at the same time enhancing the training and skills of public sector employees and to implement the policies, good governance, transparency and accountability for state and local government employees.
Finally, the council highlighted the importance of the Pensions Act for the Armed Forces, the act is currently being tabled before the House of Representatives of the Republic of Somaliland. The council of minister urged the chairman of the civil service commission to upgrade the government employees to become knowledgeable workers competing with international workers.
