The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Abdinasir Omar Jama closed an important workshop that lasted for two days and cobbled strategic rules and procedures for the ministry to be in line with international policies.
The meeting saw staff of the Ministry and experts and former ambassadors held consultative discussions during the meeting that was held at Arro-Edeg Hotel, it was said that the importance was to review objectively and update all procedural rules and regulations practice in every aspect of the profession be in line with international standards.
Hon. Abdinasir thanked the experts and other participants who devoted their knowledge and experience to the fruition of the meeting and urged the Ministry staff to apply the knowledge they have gained in their work.
The Director General Md. Saeed Ahmed Abdikarim thanked and praised all the employees and advisers of the ministry who performed their duties with great responsibility, ability and diligence. He said their contributions were direly needed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been busy in recent times and has equally seen major developments in the service and added a system of tangible accountability.
