The Minister of Justice Hon. Suleiman Warsame Guleed saw off a team of officials of Somaliland’s Genocide Investigation department to Rwanda at the Egal International Airport, Hargeisa.
According to the minister, dispatching the team to Rwanda was a worthwhile cause for orientation purposes in furthering their grasp and knowledge in their field of duties.
Given that the nation of Rwanda suffered one of the worst spates of catastrophic genocides in recent memory, indeed such an educational tour would be worthwhile since Somaliland itself is a victim of similar perpetration of gross inhumanity.
The minister noted that the knowledge they will learn from Rwanda would complement their onerous task for the country.
While thanking the Head of State, Hon. Suleiman pointed out that the educational trip for the officials has been made possible by the efforts of the President himself, H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi.
