Mr. Saad Mohamed Abdi, Director of the Somaliland Diaspora Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation congratulated the election of the new chairman of the Somaliland Society in Europe / SSE, and urged all to participate in the Drought relief processes.

“On behalf of myself, the staff of the Somaliland Diaspora Office and the Somaliland Diaspora, I would first like to commend the former SSE Committee for their cooperation and responsibility during the Covid-19 ban. I send my congratulations and prayers to the new Chairwomen of SSE, Ms. Nura Ali Dhuhul, and to the other members of the Executive Committee elected at the conference, and I pray to God to facilitate the responsibility they have taken to serve the European Community and national interest of Republic of Somaliland.

I would also like to take this opportunity to call on all Somaliland communities around the world to stand by their homeland in the spirit of patriotism, citizenship and humanitarian assistance and to participate in the drought relief efforts. save the lives of the communities affected by the drought in the regions of the Republic of Somaliland and the Second Wave of Covid-19 and we pray to God for His mercy, Amen.

I look forward to the new Board’s to accelerate the work, coordination, cooperation and collaboration of the European Diaspora, their role in serving the national interest of the Republic of Somaliland and the strengthening of relations between the Diaspora of the Republic of Somaliland. ”
On the other hand Director Saad welcomed useful donation from the Diaspora on the way to Somaliland, and make example fruits results when collectively campaigned towards national interests.
This is a good example for the collective campaign of fundraising initiatives with the by the Diaspora communities in varied places and with the key role of the Mission in encouraging, organizing and networking of the active members and associations. We are again thankful to Amb Dayaxweerar and the helpful associations in Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield and the Somaliland Australian youth community for sending this significant donation home at the situation now in the second wave of Covid-19.
We encourage them to keep up and calling for the other Associations and Ambassadors to enter for the national campaign against the Corona as well as the hardship of the current drought.
