In the 51st session of Somaliland’s Cabinet meeting held on Thursday the 26th, November 2019, chaired by the President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, flanked by the Vice President of Somaliland, Mr. Abdurrahman Abdullahi Ismail (Saylici), the council of ministers and approved the various laws.
The cabinet of ministers overwhelmingly approved the national investment policy, and at the same time the draft copies the national investment act was distributed among members of the cabinet, followed by briefings of the minister of Finance and the solicitor general of the Republic of Somaliland.
On the other hand, the Council of Ministers reiterated that the Republic of Somaliland’s commitment to working with international partners and institutions that the international community should treat Somaliland as an independent country thence are required to adhere laws of Somaliland and should not engage to acts deemed detrimental to our Sovereignty be it on Air, Land and Seas of the Republic of Somaliland.
All documents that the international organizations must, shall and undertake in Somaliland will/ must the name, map, logo, and flag of the Republic of Somaliland, except for those whose projects in Somaliland cannot be implemented without the consent and approval of the government of Somaliland, nor can anyone undertake projects without the permission from the relevant government agencies.
