The Governor of the Central Bank of Somaliland Eng. Ali Abdillahi Dahir accompanied by the Ambassador of Somaliland to Ethiopia Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Mohamud (Awed) met with the Governor of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Dr. Yinager Dessie last week.
During the meeting that took place in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa the two sides discussed about strengthening ties and enhancing cooperation between the Central Bank of Somaliland and Ethiopia.
The Governor of the Central Bank Eng. Ali is expected to make further similar trips in connection with the activities of the Central Bank of the Republic of Somaliland in the near future to other neighboring countries.
The governor’s visit to Ethiopia comes after he toured the central bank’s several regional headquarters and laid the foundation stone for other new ones.
