During the 64th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Somaliland conducted through a Video Conference facilities and chaired by the President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, flanked by the Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Abdurrahman Abdallahi Ismail (Saylici) the Civil service housing construction plan was tabled, and the cabinet overwhelmingly approved the new policy
First, the Minister of Interior briefed the Council on the security situation in the country, after which the Minister of Public Works, Lands, and Housing presented to the Council a plan for the construction of civil service housing plan, with the Minister explaining at length the design and layout the proposed houses. He noted that the ministry had prepared the land for the houses and that the council had discussed the plan to build the workers’ houses.
As the government recognizes the importance of workers to the nation thence its resolve to strengthens the capacity building and support of workers, reckoning the importance of workers to the country.
Finally, the council approved the Fixed Asset Policy prepared by the Ministry of Finance and discussed at the previous meeting.
