The Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail (Saylici) attended the International Conference on Human Rights yesterday.
The conference, organized by the International Commission of Human Rights, was attended by leaders from around the world.
According to a press statement issued by the Somaliland presidency yesterday.
The Vice President of Somaliland elaborated on the level of human rights in Somaliland and pointed out that it is one of the first places in Africa in terms of human rights and how the Somaliland constitution has given greater powers to protect and protect the rights of citizens.
He noted that the Republic of Somaliland has an independent commission tasked with protecting human rights.
The committee is independent and does not face any obstacles from various government agencies, said Abdirahman Sayli’i, who delivered a long speech at the conference.
On the other hand, the conference was attended by presidents, former and current prime ministers, ministers, prominent politicians and many heads of state from around the world.
The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan, chairman of the International Commission of Human Rights (IGO) based in Pakistan.
