Somaliland representative Ambassador Bashe Awil Haji Omer to Kenya met with the South African, High Commissioner, H.E Ms Koleka Anita Mqulwana.
Ambassador Bashe Awil Haji Omer in his social media page said, “ As part of Somaliland commitment to extend intra Africa trade, and to strengthen ties with South Africa; I had the pleasure of paying a courtesy call on the South African, High Commissioner, M.s. Koleka Anita Mqulwana.
The aim of the visit was to broaden and deepen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries as well as rekindling the historical ties between South Africa and Somaliland.
On the other hand, the Somaliland representative to Kenya met with the Vice President of Burn Manufacturing , Mr. Christopher McKinney. Burn is one of Kenya Manufacturing Company that operates in several countries in Africa. Somaliland is a major beneficiary of the environmental friendly technology of BURN that provides a range of super fuel-efficient stoves that transforms lives and saves forest. BURN is in the process of setting up its Horn of Africa Manufacturing Headquarters in Somaliland.
