Somaliland: Admin and Finance Departments trained on Standard Budget Process

The Ministry of Finance’s budget and IT departments conducted training for the Directors of Admin and Finance  Departments of the Government Agencies.

The financial management officers of Government Agencies are trained in the following points:

1. Budget preparation process- In which a long explanation was given to the officers of the budget preparation procedures.
2. The accounting symbol used in the budget has been developed and modified and adapted to the international accounting symbol (Standard Chart of Accounts).
3. Preparation of the budget through the online process of financial management data management in IFMIS.
4. Manage the decentralization of the use of the budget in the regions and municipalities.
