A high-level delegation Somaliland delegation consisting of top civil servants arrived in the on Thursday arrived in the city of Frankfurt in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The delegation led Hon Abdi Osman Minister for Planning and National Development (MoP&ND) by has being invited the Federal Republic of Germany Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), based in Bonn for a study tour for the project “Rehabilitation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)”.
They shall also have the discuss issues relating to economic development opportunities i.e. industrialization.
The delegation will during the visit tour prestigious Germany government ministries, learning institutions, private companies and meet with both government officials and academicians, etc.
Among the topics that will be discussed are as follows:
- Insight into the current situation of vocational education and training in Somaliland (delegation representative)
- Presentation of GOVET
- Vocational education and training in Germany
- The role of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training
- The German system – model and driving force of a labor market-oriented training system at home and abroad
