Addis Ababa, 31 March 2010 (Somalilandpress) – President Girma Woldegiorgis here on Wednesday held talks with Foreign Minister of Somaliland, Abdillahi Mohamed Duale.
President Girma on the occasion said the existing relations between Ethiopia and Somaliland should further be strengthened. The President said the two countries should further enhance cooperation in the efforts to prevent terrorism. Girma also wished Somaliland to hold successful elections.

The minister on his part said Somaliland is undertaking activities to hold elections. He said Somaliland is keen to further strengthen existing good relations with Ethiopia. The minister said in particular Ethiopia and Somaliland should strengthen cooperation to fight against terrorism.
Ethiopia has not given recognition to Somaliland’s independence. Duale was appointed foreign minister of Somaliland on August 5th, 2006.

I sure as hell hope Abdilaahi and his boss are upto something otherwise its the same old show. Why did he leave abruptly the rest of the tourist ministers in MN and come to meet with the ceremonial Ethiopian president was Meles too busy mediating between Shariif traveler and Faroole?
It is good for Somaliland to express her self. But why to ethiopia?. there not trustful.
Why? Because Somaliland is just being used by Ethiopian and US government. The masterplan is always divide and defeat. Thats what they are doing to Somalia right now! Dividing them into clan countries = Somaliland, Puntland, Southern Somalia. The peace is not near Somaliland its getting farther away. They need to wake up and fight for their rights together with Southern Somalia who is already fighting against the government of USA from taking the natural resources and their trying to make Somalia stable again. USA wants Somalia unstable to controll exports in Asia and Africa so they wont make business with eachother but only with USA. Ethiopia is just another 'still' colonized countries run by Meles who is abusing his powers and getting aid from USA by doing that. Somaliland will turn into a port of Ethiopia. So it will be easier for USA to controll the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Indian Ocean through Ethiopian and Somali navys.
