Republic of Somaliland Ambassadors abroad and Chairman of Somaliland Societies in Europe (SSE) urged Somaliland public to maintain security during elections and send admiring message regarding the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day 18 May, to the public, the government and President of Somaliland, H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi.
Somaliland Ambassador to France Hon Ali Hassan Ismail, Kenyan Ambassador Hon Bashe Awil Omar, Ethiopian Ambassador Hon Yusuf Mohamed Guled, EU Ambassador Hon Salan Hassan Kayd, Sweden Ambassador Hon Zakarie Hassan Wais, UK Ambassador Hon Abdi A Hirsi, South Africa Ambassador Hon Ahmed Jama Hassan, Djibouti Ambassador Hon Abdifatah Said Ahmed, Finland Ambassador Ms. Samiya Muse, Chairman of the Somaliland Diaspora in Europe Ms. Nura Ali Dhuhul, and All Diaspora chairmans urged all Somalilanders to go to the polls in a peaceful manner, as they are being closely watched by the international community.
The ambassadors & SSE Chairman who differently carved their messages, were all equal their congratulatory memo to the President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, the government and the people, and wished them success and prosperity in the coming year and beyond. .
“The fact after all this time we are still in pursuit of our inalienable right for self-determination come what may is a testament to the resolve of the great people of Somaliland and their unflinching steadfastness in attaining full international recognition.”
Somaliland Ambassadors around the world reiterated how they are engaged to inform countries they represent and their citizens for the progress that Somaliland has made in all aspects and to their goal of achieving independence, as their message comes at a time were on Tuesday, here and all Somaliland citizens abroad celebrated the 30th anniversary of the independence day of 18 May.
