The Ministry of Finance Development of the Republic of Somaliland has conducted an orientation and training program for 30 new members of the National Tax Police Services. This training during which the new recruits have been taught with the rules and regulations regarding Tax Police Service Guiding Directory required for improving public relations, customer care and the overall duties of the police officers were, to a large extent, focused in the training.
These new members will be absorbed into the various services of the tax police and are going to be officially dispatched throughout the country in order to help strengthen and mobilize the revenue collection that is pursuant to the statutory function mandated by the Ministry of Finance development.
