The PFM Reform Coordination Department has organized a six-day audit training on International Audit Standards for senior civil servants of key public financial management institutions of Somaliland, on January 20, 2020.
The training aims to equip auditors and financial management practitioners with the skills required to meet International Audit Standards and to familiarize them with key principles of audit planning and risk management. This will enable participants to acquire and sustain techniques for high-quality auditing in line with international Audit Standards.
The PFM strives to achieve the highest possible efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the allocation, management, and use of public finances to meet the National Development Plan priorities and stimulate economic growth.
